Beverly Hill coach Luis Turcios spoke about the 4 game suspensions that were handed down this past Friday. The reason for the suspensions were a violation of team policies. It has been rumored that 4 members were boycotting the coach due to what they felt were calls that they didn't agree with. Leading scorer Julian Wheeler, point guard Percy Miller Jr., with averages of 38.5 points a game, along with Greg Townsend and Justin Cooper were reprimanded for missing scheduled games at the Redondo tournament. "Rules are rules, and my players, whether they are popular or not, know that if they miss a game, there are consequences," Turcios said. "There were a couple of parents that thought the punishment was a little too tough, but that's just the way I do things. We're all on the same page now. Everyone understands my decision." Way to go coach! Edited by iamadminballer7 - 05 Jan 2008 at 5:30pm |
